The world's first lunar visitors orbited the moon on Apollo 8. The Artemis II crew will instead go around the moon in an out-and-back slingshot.

The crew on board Nasa's Artemis II spacecraft have described seeing the far side of the Moon for the first time.

The Canadian Space Agency celebrated the country’s role in the mission, speaking from Quebec with astronaut Jeremy Hansen as he headed toward his lunar rendezvous.
