Gov. Tim Walz was unsparing in his condemnation of President Donald Trump and defense of Minnesota’s immigrant communities at the flagship “No Kings” protest on Saturday afternoon at the State Capitol.
Bruce Springsteen gave a performance of his protest song “Streets of Minneapolis” on Saturday at the No Kings protest in St. Paul, Minnesota, honoring the locals and commending them for their “hope” and “courage” amid ICE’s clashes with demonstrators earlier this year.
After the thousands converged on the Capitol grounds from three separate marches across St. Paul, Gov. Tim Walz introduced Springsteen, who performed “Streets of Minneapolis.”
Joan Baez and Maggie Rogers will also be on hand at Saturday's (March 28) event.
