The Netherlands complete their ​Group F campaign at the World Cup with a clash against a Tunisia side in disarray in Kansas City ‌on Thursday, looking to cement top spot in the pool and manage several strikers carrying knocks.

ConnectKC26, Kansas City’s bus service for the FIFA World Cup, announced alternate plans for Thursday. Four locations on the Region Direct service will be suspended for the day, and those buses will be added to the Stadium Direct routes to help get fans to Thursday’s 6 p.

Japan thrashed Tunisia to move level on points with the Netherlands at the top of Group F at the 2026 World Cup. In the first half, Daichi Kamada turned in from close range and Ayase Ueda fired in from the edge of the penalty area.

Celtic winger Sebastian Tounekti started Tunisia's 4-0 defeat by Japan in World Cup Group F but club-mate Daizen Maeda did not feature for the victors at Estadio Monterrey. Tounekti, 23, played 64 minutes in Guadalupe as Tunisia sustained a second straight loss that ended their hopes of progress.
