Moving the middle note (C) down a semitone (B) will give me an Asus2 chord. Moving the middle note (C) up two semitones (D) will give me an Asus4 chord. Combining the minor chords with the sus chords give the trap sound. Play around with different combinations of minor and sus2 sus4 chords. I gave the simplest demonstration here with Amin - Asus2 - Amin - Asu
